Automobile wrecks
An online information system for registering automobile wrecks follows from Decree No 352/2008 Coll., on the details of disposing automobile wrecks.
The following steps have to be taken in order to meet the obligations of car wreck facility operator by registering in the information system:
1. Required software. The programme can be obtained as freeware downloadable here (5.9 MB); alternatively, suitable commercial software that complies with the data standard of the Ministry of the Environment can be used. To verify compatibility, please contact the manufacturer.
2. System access data. Access data contain a login and a password that unequivocally identify the operator and the car wreck collection facility. The system can be accessed only by a business entity authorized by a relevant regional authority to operate a car wreck facility. The list of all centrally registered entities can be accessed here. Since 1 January 2009, login data have been distributed by CzechPOINTS. The process for obtaining access data follows:
- Verify whether your facility is registered in the national registry. If not, contact CENIA via email autovraky@cenia.cz.
- Find your nearest CzechPOINT.
- At CzechPOINT, ask for authorisation to access MA ISOH (The Car Wreck Module of the Waste Management Information System).
- To be granted access, you will have to submit the following documents:
- operator’s identification data – an extract from the Commercial Register (if you do not have it, it can be issued by CzechPOINT while you wait) or a business licence;
- applicant’s identification data – a valid ID;
- a power of attorney to accept the MA ISOH access data – a power of attorney is issued by the operator’s corporate body in favour of the applicant unless the operator personally applies for the MA ISOH access. The power of attorney shall contain a certified signature and shall be provided on this form.
- An employee issuing access authorisation shall ask you to identify the facility for which the access is to be granted. Generally, one access authorisation applies to one facility.
- After receiving access data, you can log into the system using the software (see point 1). Upon your first login you will be automatically asked to change the one-time password you received.
3. In the event of difficulties with MA ISOH or further inquiries, please use the electronic helpdesk. You can also reach us during weekdays between 09:30 – 11:30 am and 1:30 – 3:00 pm at +420 267 225 306.
