Home Information Service Information Pursuant to Act No. 123/1998 Coll.

Everybody is entitled to request information. This right is not limited in any way – by age or Czech citizenship. Anybody may inspect the documentation, makes duplicates, extracts or copies.

Environmental information pursuant to Act No. 123/1998 Coll. includes:

• the state and development of the environment, causes and consequences,
• activities and measures under preparation,
• condition of the environmental elements (water, air, soil, etc.),
• use of natural resources,
• impact of buildings, activities and products on public health and the environment,
• administrative procedure of environmental matters, environmental impact assessment,
• information regarding highly-protected natural areas,
• economic and financial analyses used in the decision-making process (prepared with the use of public funds),
• strategies, programmes and international commitments related to the environment,
• environmental information sources,
• genetically modified organisms,
• energy and different types of emissions,
• information on public health, safety and living conditions (if it is or might be influenced by the state of environmental components),
• condition of cultural and architectural monuments (if they are or might be influenced by the state of environmental components),
• reports on the implementation of and compliance with the regulations within the topic.
