Home Environmental Impact Assessment Professional Qualification Examinations

The EIA Unit is authorised by the Ministry of the Environment to prepare, organise and hold the examinations of applicants for the Certificate of Successful Professional Qualification Examination pursuant to Section 19, paragraph 4, letter (b) of Act No.100/2001 Coll., on Environmental Impact Assessment and pursuant to Decree No. 457/2001 Coll., on Professional Qualification and Regulation of Some Other Aspects Related to Environmental Impact Assessment. Requirements for the professional qualification examination are set by the aforementioned Act and Decree. Professional qualification is examined and certified by a commission appointed by the Minister of the Environment of the Czech Republic.
